Bio: Desiree Flanary’s work as a hotel consultant and appraiser is rooted in hotel markets across the western United States. Desiree earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and gained front-line hotel experience in both housekeeping and food and beverage departments. She has since conducted or supervised nearly 200 hotel appraisal and consulting assignments for major hotel brands, investors, lenders, and independent owners. As Vice President of U.S. Hotel Appraisals’ office in Reno, Desiree oversees and executes a wide variety of appraisals, market studies, and feasibility studies for limited- and select-service hotels in the region.
Desiree volunteers for the Crisis Call Center and donates yearly to American Forests. She belongs to the professional association CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) of Northern Nevada, serving on CREW's board of directors since 2010.
