Dallas/Fort Worth, July 8, 2010: U.S. Hotel Appraisals will host Climbing the Next Curve, a conference dedicated to helping economy and mid-scale hotel owners, lenders, investors, managers, and other stakeholders connect with each other, make deals, and improve the performance of their hotels. The conference will be held at the Hilton DFW Lakes hotel in Grapevine, Texas on Wednesday, October 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendance is free.
“Many U.S. hotel markets have seen a significant upturn in demand and the stabilization of rates in the first half of 2010, two indications that we’re beginning to climb out of the downturn created by the recession,” said Russ Rivard, Managing Partner of U.S. Hotel Appraisals. “We wanted to host a conference open to hoteliers and lenders with interests in the limited- and select-service sectors of the U.S. hotel industry, with high-caliber speakers that can provide perspective on their concerns and discuss ways to capitalize on a recovery.”
Speakers at the conference include:
Perry Espie, Lender Relations, U.S. Small Business Administration
Tarun S. Patel, CHA, Principal, Pacific Hospitality Company and 2009 AAHOA Chairman
Cameron J. Larkin, Vice President—Capital Markets, Prime Income Asset Management
In addition, managing directors from U.S. Hotel Appraisals’ offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C., will host panel sessions covering important topics and market updates for U.S. limited- and select-service hotels.
