The Candlewood Suites brand was acquired by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a leading global hospitality group, in 2004. The brand caters to mid-market business and leisure travelers staying for multiple nights. Guestrooms include a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with recliner, free use and rental of CD/DVD equipment and titles, two separate phone lines, and complimentary local phone calls and high-speed Internet access. Hotels offer complimentary use of onsite washers and dryers, a fitness room, the Candlewood Cupboard market, and express check-in/out services. Housekeeping service is provided to guests staying five nights or more.
