Bio: Managing Director Jerod Byrd has spent nearly ten years in the fields of hotel operations and consulting & valuation services for the U.S. hotel industry. Jerod earned dual degrees in Hospitality & Resort Management and Real Estate from The University of Memphis and spent one year studying Hotel Management in Providence, Rhode Island. Beyond his hands-on hotel experience, Jerod is a state certified appraiser and has conducted or supervised more than 300 appraisal and consulting assignments for major hotel brands, investors, and independent owners. Most of these assignments took place in markets across the Northeastern U.S.
