Brian has consulted on hundreds of hotel appraisals, feasibility studies, and market studies during his career with U.S. Hotel Appraisals. He began his career with the company's Houston division before relocating to Cincinnati. Brian studied at both Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and the hospitality management program at the University of North Texas (UNT), where he belonged to the Eta Sigma Delta hospitality honor society. Upon graduation from UNT, Brian enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, graduating with a master’s in Technology Commercialization. Brian’s prior work in hospitality includes roles in hotel operations and corporate finance. His service as Corporate Treasurer at the Austin, Texas-based College Houses Cooperative gave him practical experience with how budgets and capital expenditures come into play when determining a property’s value.
