Kirsten Smiley, MAI, is the Director of Southwest Region for the U.S. Hotel Appraisals team. She is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute. Since joining U.S. Hotel Appraisals in 2014, Kirsten worked with the St. Louis and Portland offices before relocating to Los Angeles in 2018. Kirsten’s international background and understanding of both Asian and U.S. markets have allowed her to assist her domestic clients and their international partners. She has extensive expertise in markets throughout the West Coast. Kirsten graduated with dual international degrees in Hospitality Management from Sun Yat-Sen University in China and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
